ERA 222 series universal lever terminal blocks are designed for repeated connection of all types of conductors (solid and stranded copper, terminated with NShvI ferrules) without the use of special tools. When connecting conductors with insulated NShvI ferrules, their max. cross-section must be one size smaller than the maximum cross-section of the terminal. Used for connecting and distributing conductors in junction boxes, as well as for connecting lighting and other electrical equipment. Using universal lever terminal blocks allows: - creating a reliable and long-lasting wire connection thanks to the spring terminal mechanism controlled by levers. - the ability to easily and quickly disconnect wires, change the circuit, or connect an additional circuit or device. - quickly connecting or extending wires made of different materials and different cross-sections. If using terminals outdoors, they must be placed in airtight junction boxes with a protection rating of at least IP65. Design features: - the lever mechanism design ensures repeated installation and removal of all types of copper conductors: solid, stranded, and fine-wire. - the specially selected initial lever position prevents accidental disconnection of the connected conductor. - the products feature test holes that allow measurement of the electrical parameters of the connection circuit. - the housing is made of polyamide 6.6. Non-flammable, halogen-free according to UL94V2. - the contact part includes high-copper tinned brass, which guarantees good electrical conductivity and low terminal heating. - the clamping mechanism is made of high-quality alloy spring steel, ensuring reliable conductor clamping and stability of characteristics with repeated use.
